The Savage Empire Remake for Exult

A project to recreate Savage Empire using Exult. This project seemed, for a time, to be developing at a reasonable pace; Scythifuge had been experimenting with the Gimp and PaintShop Pro, and had even begun to add custom graphics to this promising work. He had also begun to experiment with high-resolution tiles, and had posted some sample roof tiles to the forum thread linked above.

More recently, the project slowed in its development. As of October 2010, however, Scythifuge is back at work on it, and has even set up a Facebook page to chronicle its development.

As yet, however, no demo or project snapshot has been released.
